I’m a self-taught artist, taking a few classes here and there to sort of “hone” my craft. I started drawing horses and other animals when I was about five or six, which then led to cartoon and Disney-esque illustrations. As I grew older, I studied works by HR Giger, Dali, and Frida Kahlo. I love Frida’s use of bright colors even when the subject is “dark”. I soon started really letting my imagination go, tapping into a congregation of dreams, imaginings and creative thoughts.

I love fine lines and lots of detail, so my medium is primarily pen and ink, sometimes adding charcoal and pastels for additional shadows and color.

I have had shows in and around Orange County and Los Angeles, CA and most recently Seattle. I currently live in Seattle with my wonderful husband Nick, who’s attending law school, and my beloved Boston Terrier, Pib.
