JEN YOUNGS  

 i was born in NYC and grew up in the 70’s & 80’s with my mom, dad and brother. My dad is the actor John Savage(Deer Hunter). He worked allot on location so we spent our child hood in amazing places like the Hungarian planes, Africa, Finland, cool places and sound stages in Europe, NYC and LA. my home Base was Malibu from 3 to 10 and cape cod from 10 to 21.

I went to Art school in Boston until my dad brought me to Rome to be in the God father III. i saw my life clear one night in Rome. so i did 2 more movies over seas, Nights of Fear in Russia and Mountain of Diamonds in Malta and went back to the Cape, found Tana (my wolf dog i saw her in my head) and drove cross country to pursue my love of music and acting in L.A. One of the first nights in Calli i camped  at the Paramount Ranch, then i landed a role on D.R. Quinn Medicine Woman as the Swedish immigrant “Ingrid” which filmed there ;-)  all the while playing around L.A and writing songs with my band “what’s the bob”. Eventually i was ready to make a real recording of my band, which is how i met Ronnie Champagne. who is now my husband Lead guitar, Bass, production, harmonies, music and lyrics We began writing and playing together in 1997 producing “MOBIUS” a multi media performance piece about reincarnation, JENNIFER SAVAGE” a rockin sound track for an Indie film called “KARMA CHAMELEONS”. After i was bit by a rabid wolf and died on DQ we went to Europe. in 2001 we returned  to New York  to play clubs and record all the songs we had been writing, producing “I LIKE TO WATCH T.V”,”ONLY HUMAN” AND “LET ME GO THERE”. This winter we moved to Seattle. Ronnie is currently building a recording studio and teaching. i am gigging, working  Between Seattle and L.A.

Jen and Ronnie make a great team. They compliment each other from the opening of the cd to the end. Truly naming them the yin and the yang of this project. It has a very alternative sound and is richly produced with an overall ethical tone. I like this cd a lot! Hit picks “Daze of confusion” and “Not my dream” (of the JENNIFER SAVAGE CD)
