I photograph a wide range of subject matter, including urban and nature. In the urban setting, I look for small vignettes that tell a story, such as the Mannequin series, or for macro photography, such as the Zen Walls, with a graphic sense to it that seems to bring a certain feeling along with it. 

 

I also like to find a way to shoot which brings some mystery to the photo.  I think that if there is some ambiguity, it becomes more interesting.  In the mannequin series, many of the photos are double exposures or two photographs put together in post processing, in order to present the message. 

 

The Zen Wall series was shot this summer. The mannequins were photographed in Fall 2007 through May 2008.

Anthony is a Spokane native and has lived in Seattle; Anchorage, Alaska; and Portland, Oregon. He has business degrees from Gonzaga University, and the University of Portland, and a Certificate in Photography from the University of Washington.
