Bio:
James Taylor has a background in traditional art receiving a BFA from Calvin College with an emphasis in graphic design. Began working professionally as an illustrator and graphic designer in 1997 and continues to do so while branching out with more personal work for various shows. Currently resides in Mill Creek, WA, working from home and inspired by his family.

Artist Statement:
The object of my work is to express emotion from the subject, trying to caption that feeling and pass it on to the audience. My work is usually done as an ink wash with the occasional water color to splash in color.
